From: Arnie Date: 18 Aug 07 - 03:54 PM Well, I had the dubious pleasure of running the Deal Folk Club when most of the Deal Folk Club including the MC (Avril) had gone to Broadstairs. However, as often happens at times like this, 15 stalwarts turned up with enough performers amongst them to have a very pleasant evening - and we were fortunate to taste the new ale from Shepherds Neame - I think it was called Kent's Best, but having had a few last night I'm not so sure now! And as I got to Cropredy last week I didn't mind too much about not making Broadstairs this year - but I hope to get there next year! |

I heard it played by an elderly gentleman at Avril's Folk Club at the Sailing club on Sunday, but I know he has played elsewhere.. If you haven't heard it look out for it, ask questions, find it.
