Following the recent Sad News about the cancellation of this year"s Wallingford Bunkfest........Is anyone "Up For" a bit of a session in Wallingford anyway, like Sidmouth 2 years ago ??? A few local ( Oxon & Berks ) musicians have indicated their willingness to try to raise some funds for next year, and keep the ball rolling,so to speak. The "Cross Keys" is just changing landlords, and may not be available as a folk-friendly venue, but the Coach & Horses on "The Kinecroft"( Village Green ) should be amenable, + possibly some other venues. Anyone interested ???

Mini BunkFest!

Hello Friends,

With a great deal of help and goodwill from our venues, artists and helpers we have pulled together a great programme of fundraising events for Saturday 1st Sept, with some events on Friday 31st Aug and Sunday 2nd Sept - a Mini BunkFest!

EVERYONE is volunteering their help, so please come and support us.

No admission charges (except for the trains and boats) but please buy a BunkFest Supporter's Badge, available from the venues and from roving vendors (who will ask you if you're not wearing one!) - suggested minimum donation £5.

Artists confirmed so far include:

Pete Orton, East of Ealing, Rootdogs featuring Mark T, Black Rat, Waterhorse, Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer, Colin Green & friends, Mew & Wooster, Lu Cozma, Bill McKinnon, Jon Fletcher, Riverboat Pirates, Dave Bennett & Brenda Hart, Jodie O'Callaghan, Jody Wyatt, Dave King, Ken Cole, Eddie Thompson, RamblinMinor, and many more to come...
