I heard a song long ago sung maybe by Garnet Rogers or Archie Fisher...maybe not. the words were somthing like this:
oh, when this shirt was new, it was how do you do
it was singing and telling our tales
...then you'd know what to do. I(?) had clear eyes and my smile never failed.
All of my brothers that I met on the way, they were drinking by night, they were drinking by day.
Restore to my eyes what was clear and was bright, come and take me out drinking tonight...oh come and take me out drinking tonight.
that is all i can remember. anyone know this song?

There is a song titled "Take Me Out Drinking Tonight" by Annie Grace, but I believe the lyrics are different.

The song is "Take Me Out Drinking Tonight" written by Michael Marra, recorded by quite a few since the'80s.
