Subject: RE: Tech: MP3 recorder From: Herge Date: 17 Aug 07 - 01:32 PM I did a search under Digital Voice Recorder and mp3 recorders, but little results or quite dated and as technology moves quick I'm looking recent views. Herge |

Subject: RE: Tech: MP3 recorder From: GUEST,YJB Date: 17 Aug 07 - 02:21 PM We have one of these and have found it great for club recordings, practice, etc.. also can be used as a 4 track recorder. - you should be able to get one for under £200 - you can also get a stereo adapter for i-pods and many MP3 players can record on either internal and external mics at WAV quality. Loads out there. google it :) |
Subject: RE: Tech: MP3 recorder From: SouthernCelt Date: 17 Aug 07 - 05:23 PM I have the Zoom H4 as well and it offers a lot of capability for the money. And it's extremely portable so it can go where you go and you don't have to go to it as you would if it were a larger console recorder board. Offers both WAV and MP3 recording modes (with MP3 being the better choice for conserving memory and getting more on it without having to do a download to or through a computer (or having to change out the memory card). Subject: RE: Tech: MP3 recorder From: George Seto - af221@chebucto.ns.ca Date: 17 Aug 07 - 07:21 PM The info on the Zoom seems great! Do a search on the Roland R09 or R-09 That's the one I have. It's great as well. |
Subject: RE: Tech: MP3 recorder From: GUEST Date: 18 Aug 07 - 05:21 AM The Roland is also likely to be called 'Edirol' - not sire where the 'Edi' comes from but I can guess the 'rol'. Mines great as I guess I must have mentioned in the other thread. |
