According to Peggy in The Peggy Seeger Songbook (Oak Publications 1998):

Words and music: Peggy Seeger, 1996. "Written in an RV camp in Cape Cod. Can't decide whether it's "Call Out Your Name" or "Call On Your Name." Singing it for a while will decide."
