Subject: Sesh 4 Sept near Cardiff From: Splott Man Date: 03 Sep 07 - 11:25 AM On Tuesday 4 September Llantrisant Folk Club will launch a session at The Six Bells in Penmark, in The Vale Of Glamorgan, north of Cardiff Airport. Tony Willicombe, the new landlord who's a folk fan, has gained a reputation at The Bell, Caerleon, for his real ales, his love of Wales and Brittany and serving spectacular food. He's even taken on an award-winning chef at the Six Bells, and he'd love to start a Tuesday folk club – so Llantrisant Folk Club will give him a kick-start on September 4. All welcome - singers, musicians, dancers, storytellers etc. Splott Man |

Subject: RE: Sesh 4 Sept near Cardiff -The Six Bells in Penmark From: Mick Tems Date: 06 Sep 07 - 06:07 AM It's a fabulous pub, in the middle of one of the prettiest villages in the Vale. Tony has excelled himself here - I tasted the Tribute from the St Austell brewery, the Old Rosie cider and the Gwynt yr Ddraig perry. I decided to leave the HB. While we were departing, Tony showed me the restaurant. I shall definitely recommend a stopover at The Six Bells to my brother and his American wife - at ten miles away, The Six Bells is so near! |
