I want to find out more about this song and where I can locate a copy of it. They play it at our local Mexican Fiesta and I have been told it's a very old song.

"The Castillians."
Castillo, m., would be a castle or fort, forecastle on a ship, etc., but castilla sometimes means the same in southern Spain).

Please give some details. Is there more to the title? Where is 'local'?
Never heard of it in Santa Fe, where many Spanish and Mexican songs are sung.

There are some old Spanish songs and romances about a Castillian, or Castillians fighting the Moors. Could the song be related to one of these?
Several local districts are also called 'Las castillas.'

Without some details, one doesn't know where to look.
