What happened to Nutty's thread ? - was there some breach of Mudcat etiquette, rules or other behaviour which I did not understand. Did the moderator / Joe summararily close it down. I've missed a trick here, methinks.

And I think Lizzie was less guilty this time than another that I could name.

As the thread was going nowhere - having been hijacked by people with their own axe to grind I asked Joe to close the it.

This is an option always open to the originator of a thread on Mudcat - there is no hidden agenda or censorship. I just felt it was useless to continue.

Not guilty I hope. I did indulge in some banter with Wee Little Drummer about whether Folk Union One in Hull should have booked Bert Jansch, but Lizzie joined in under a variety of names.

She is barred from posting on Mudcat (and the BBC) but she persists. The problem then is that when her posts are removed my replies - if I have not spotted her - then look daft. So once I spot her I am happy to stop posting. It is the only way and the way recommended by Joe Offer.

Nutty asked that it be closed ("As this thread appears to have totally degenerated I hope that Joe will close it"), and it had pretty much turned into another fight. Lizzie's said she wasn't going to post anymore back on 14 Jul, so she's not. Either she lied or it's someone else posing as her.
