Saw him at St. Gearges Hall last time he was here, he was great as usual, certainly will be going this time!

Tom is obviously back playing the big venues. There was a spell in the eighties that he was playing smaller venues in outer London. Aka. Wimbledon, Croydon, and Greenwich. Wish he'd do that again!

He had done Farewell tour no 1 then Farewell tour no 2, but then said on his website words to the effect of "Forget retirement, I'm having a ball". I'll be getting my ticket for Glasgow, which will be during the Celtic Connections Festival.

I haven't been reading all the threads on tom Paxton but I thought he had announced his retirement a few years back? Great to hear it was just a rumor.

Tom just sent me his schedule, and he will be in the UK next January. All you friends in the UK, go see him, you will not regret it.
