Jacqui and Bridie used to do a song about chips with everything.
It included things like "we had beans and chips, sardines and chips, roast leg of pork with gold apple sauce gravy and greens and chips.."
"Rice and chips, vanilla ice and chips, curried eels in sauce with lots of spice and chips..."
Anyone have all the words?

I can't recall the song you mentioned but Jacqui has a website with CDs for sale and a contact address.

I have been looking and looking. Also finding nowt. I think it will have to be gleaned from

1) someone who knows it
2) someone's CD or record

Many years ago, I watched a live British variety show, where a couple of Canadian(I think) Ladies sang a hilarious song about the then staple of British cuisine - CHIPS! Would love the entire lyrics, if anyone has them. It had a prelude where the girls went to a restaraunt and asked what there was to eat, and got the response:

'We've got Beans and CHIPS,
Sardines and CHIPS,
da-da da-da da-da da-a and CHIPS,
we've got eggs and CHIPS
Frogs leg's and CHIPS

and so on, finally down to

CHIPS and CHIPS!

Anybody help?
