A friend is looking for the words and especially the music of a fairly old thing called "Home", by a chap called Van Steeden et al. It begins "Evening marks the close of day"; chorus seems to be "When shadows fall and trees whisper day is ending" - and the end of the verses is "Home".
Can the well-informed Mudcatters help?
