Subject: Song Chall: Permission to Reincarnate From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 18 Sep 07 - 06:42 PM Gee, ages, no challenges, now two in a row... The Chinese Govt is trying to choose the next Dali Lama, who has always previously always reincarnated in Tibet. Unfortunately He has declared that he will not reincarnate next time in Tibet. The Chinese Govt is Atheistic, but is demanding the right of non-believers to select the next Dali Lama leader of a Religious movement. There are now TWO '2nd level leaders' - one selected by China, and one by believers, now they want to play this game with the Leader... The Chinese Govt is also doing this with Buddhists, non-believers writing Religious texts! Look, I'm not making this up, you know... There is a lot of Political background in this, of course... |

Subject: RE: Song Chall: Permission to Reincarnate From: MMario Date: 19 Sep 07 - 10:00 AM If you're fond of temples and mountains blue, incense, meditation and Tibet, too Then re-incarnate as the head guru! Dalai Lama is the guy to be Re-incarnate throughout his-tor-y Do not try to raise the chinese ire It's golden urn, not goblet of fire. Be a 'precious victor' or 'fulfilling jewel' Anything but the regime's willing tool. then re-incarnate as the head guru! (tune: Old Cape Cod) |
Subject: RE: Song Chall: Permission to Reincarnate From: Flash Company Date: 19 Sep 07 - 10:55 AM I'm just a poor Tibetan mystic, And my country no longer is free, And the new Government has decided, To bring back my Lama to me. CH Bring back, bring back, Oh bring back my Lama to me, to me Bring back, bring back, Oh bring back my Lama to me. It's a matter of reincarnation, And that's not very easy, you see But they think they can bring back my Lama, In the form of a heathen Chinee CH Now the present incumbent has stated, He wants all this land to be free, And he just won't be reincarnated, Except somewhere over the sea. CH So if in The States you are living, Just watch out for GWB, I really will bet you a shilling, That he thinks he's the Lama you see. CH Or perhaps it's a fellow named Tony, With Cheshire Cat grin full of glee, And if you can believe this baloney You're a much better Mystic than me! CH Brian Q |

Subject: RE: Song Chall: Permission to Reincarnate From: Amos Date: 20 Sep 07 - 11:02 AM I heard they were trying toimpose a "permission to reincarnate" standard on all citizens, also. Just goes toshow you how silly bureaucrats can get. Let me be, Let me be! Let me be reborn the way I Want to be! It's not your jurisdiction, Let me be. When I find myself at the end of living, One refrain comes back to me. I don't need permission, Let me be. And when the Chinese come a calling, A quiet smile is all they see. There's nothing they can do but Let me be! Let me be, let me be! Let me be, let me be! It's really not your problem, Let me be. And as I exit from my body, I have to laugh internally, Watching baffled boffos Let me be. They write reports back up to Peking On all they did to manage me, All to one conclusion, Let me be. Let me be, let me be! Let me seek my destiny, I've escaped your venue, Let me be. Let me be, let me be! What if I were Sigman Rhee? There's nothing you can handle, Let me be! |
Subject: RE: Song Chall: Permission to Reincarnate From: MMario Date: 20 Sep 07 - 01:06 PM He lived out his life like a good monk should, He died very age-ed having done much good, Because, the Dalia Lama knows, before he ever goes, That re-birth is the afterlife that he has always chose The Chinese say, that's not the way To choose a great new leader; They think a lottery is best to choose who to succeed yer. But, the Dalia Lama knows, before he ever goes, That re-birth is the afterlife that he has always chose He spent twnety lives as a crawling slug, He even once was born as a bow-legged pug! But, the Dalia Lama knows, before he ever goes, That re-birth is the afterlife that he has always chose Tibet was his chosen state; He's never pondered why-y-y But now the Chinese may make him Choose a Rocky Mountain high! Because, the Dalia Lama knows, before he ever goes, That re-birth is the afterlife that he has always chose |
