The Wilsons recorded 'Lost at Sea' written by Clive Gregson, on a charity single in 1989 called 'The Third World War' another great song written by Kieth Handcock, about the famine in Africa. Two powerful songs, powerfully sang by the wonderful Wilsons. When people on the folk scene! go on about giving awards away for various reasons, I can never understand why the Wilson Family have never received any recognition for this excellent recording, and the cash they raised.

For those who don't know the (wonderful) Wilsons: Santa's daughters tent could have been several fields away from the concert hall and she's still have heard every word!

The Wilsons are a group. A family, even. Unaccompanied harmony singers.

My daughter (Edain) went to Warwick a few years ago, her first unaccompanied festival. She rang us up late Saturday night. Are you well, we asked. Oh yes, I'm listening to the Wilsons in the late night concert. Shocked parents: you aren't using your mobile in the concert hall? Disdainful pause. No, I'm in my tent at the campsite.
