Was in the Boat Inn up Scarthin last Saturday and saw a notice that No Fixed Abode were to be performing there this Friday evening.
Lovely couple and good beer. What else is needed?

Yeh to be honest you haven't seen Una till you see her do her a pub gig. Folk music for real folk - not this arty farty crowd that you get at folk festivals - she goes into another gear!

Tony is really interesting in the way he approaches the DADGAD tuning, Very rock 'n'roll!

A very intriguing combination of talents. Because of her years at residenting at Bunratty Castle and touring America - she has the courage and confidence to really embrace an audience of ordinary people rather than cower in some spurious 'tradition'.

Tony and Una's writing is also pretty amazing.. just check 'em out. I hate to miss their gigs. Most artists that get people excited on this forum leave me pretty cold.

ERic Taylor is at Tha Maze in Nottingham this sunday and at The Musician in Leicester this Tuesday. Another undderrated talent.

Excellent duo. Una has a voice to die for and Tony does a brilliant job with that guitar. Together they provide a lovely evening of entertainment.

Well we are back from two weeks in France safe and sound. We are looking forward to the gig and it would be nice if you come along and say hello.

Una and Tony

If you have time before, a "must visit" for books old, new and musical is Scarthin Books opposite the pub.
Nice snacks and teas too!

Well isnt that always the case, this duo sent me an excellent CD to peruse as potential artistes at Bude FF next year...... now I live in Cornwall, but just happened to pass through Cromford last Wednesday! We could have made it last Friday but back in the Westcountry now!
Bugger!
Well worth a visit, in my opinion!
Cheers, Lucy
