Subject: RE: Copies of Folk News and Acoustic Music From: Irene M Date: 08 Oct 07 - 02:49 PM Penguin Egg. Wait until the Post Office is over it's latest bout of constipation, and speak nicely to Diane and see if she will share. All sorts. One reports Sandy Denny's death, there's a report on the Sidmouth Silver Jubilee (I was there!), bands splitting up, bands re-forming, gig lists, etc etc. Irene |

Subject: RE: Copies of Folk News and Acoustic Music From: greg stephens Date: 06 Oct 07 - 12:02 PM I think I have these all myself, otherwise I go for them like a shot. Strongly recommended, if only for the hairstyles that people might prefer to forget they ever wore. And some fine examples of those LP cover pictures of people posing under a tree, or by a rock. Or sometimes, for variety, by a rock under a tree. |
Subject: Copies of Folk News and Acoustic Music From: Irene M Date: 06 Oct 07 - 11:54 AM I have been having a turn out, and came across some 1977 to 81 copies of the Folk News and Acoustic Music papers that Karl Dallas used to edit/ produce. There are 13 Folk News and 5 Acoustic Music. I was going to recycle them, then thought I had better offer them here, as someone might like them. |
