Subject: RE: Wycombe Folk Club From: Leadfingers Date: 20 Oct 07 - 08:45 AM As the High Wycombe Folk Chamber was the first club I actually went out to join (in 1964) I have maintained contact at all the various incarnations over the years . The current club has been a regualr calling off place , and is always a nice atmosphere . |
Subject: Wycombe Folk Club From: Wild Flying Dove Date: 20 Oct 07 - 06:23 AM Wycombe Folk Club is now known locally as Marlow Bottom Acoustic Club. I noticed on the Broadsheet that our address is given as "Sedly Bottom" - which probably doesn't exist! We are a small and very friendly club - as anyone who's visited will tell you. Location is between Marlow and High Wycombe, just off the M40. We meet every Wednesday at TJ O'Reilly's, Marlow Bottom Rd, 8:30, no entry fees and no guest nights, just entertaining ourselves with songs and tunes and anything else anyone wants to do. You can read more about the club on www.myspace.com/marlowbottomacousticclub So if you've a Wednesday with nothing to do, why not come along. |
