A 73-year old lady asked me if I knew the words to an old folk song that her father used to sing to her when she was a girl. The song is about an Indian girl named Red Dove. She hummed a few bars and asked me to search the Internet for the lyrics, so here I am. [e-mail]. Thanks.

Hi, Keith - the first song that came to mind was RED WING (click here) - our database here has three versions:

Somebody's gonna prove me wrong and post a "Red Dove" song, but take a look at those while you're waiting.
There's a union song to the tune of "Red Wing." Name that song....
