This is the best scene for Musicians and singers in a range of pubs such as Fagans, The Red Deer, Kelham Island Tavern, Fat Cat and the Dog and Partridge (weekly Irish session)

Check out the indoor camping and Campervan arrangements

I'll be there with Judie Knight doing singarounds and a Sunday am workshop with the local traditional singers

Barnsley fc persona will also be coming for music sessions!

Will manage a few sessions / singarounds but in the middle of a major house move.

Anyone seeing a plump , blonde, middle-aged scottish woman dozing off beside you, give me a dig in the ribs when its my turn to sing. Alternatively feed me decent beer or whisk(e)y - it keeps me going.

Promise to be more involved next year.

J

Hi Ray,
Long time no see...........keep missing you at festivals.
Patrick played violin on our new albnum and did a brilliant job.

so as not to be accused of self promotion I will not put a blue clicky thing here just do a search for Clearwater and you should come across the cdbaby page. Patrick features on most tracks and his solo on Kebab crazed nutter is just the business.

We may go to the survivers session on Sunday at Kelham....we have a late gig on Sat night to do so if we are not to knackered....

Una and Tony

From the university/Children's hospital down the main road to Brook Hill roundabout - straight across & down the hill on your right; 10 minutes walk

... or from Red Dear on Pitt St - along Mappin St to Broad Lane (main road) and down to Fagan's or drop down Portobello St to Rockingham St - Fagan's is on Broad Lane near end of Rockingham St - Fagan's is a treat - you'll love it; but then Sheffield is a real treat - music centre of the UK and Folk Capital

The Bluegrass Session is on at the University Arms, Fitzwilliam Street tonght at 8pm, led by Steve Read - one of the founders of the late lamented Edale Bluegrass Festival. Saturday night sees the Old Time session at the same venue, run by fiddler "Smilin" Dave Young. I expect I'll be there playing banjo....
