Morgan takes way more energy, even in two minute increments, but it's good energy and he gives it back, too!

Exactly.

i know what you mean about PTSD Kat. I've had some depression twice now following fairly major surgery. At least if you can recognise it and just acknowledge the fact it makes it easier to deal with.

I'm glad you are managing the treadmill. Walking is the best exercise post illness/surgery. Gets all the systems back to work again, as well as pumping the endorphins through you. More power to your legs dear!

Missed this thread until a short while ago but obviously there were oodles of positive thoughts being sent to Kat while she was going through this.

Just wanted to say it's good to see you back on here Kat. Take your time to heal well and one step at a time - slow setting is good!
Still sending positive thoughts,
Hil

HeyaHil, thanks! I am doing SO much better. I managed nine hours of work last week and, finally, have had my grandson back in the late afternoons, this week. Just an hour or two. Of course with the holiday this week, I won't have him the rest of the week except with all of the other adults around, so no stress. It feels GOOD to be up and able and I am MOST grateful to everyone for their support and care. You are ALL a wonderful bunch! (I was able to do six minutes non-stop on the treadmill! Doesn't sound like much, but believe me it is!)

Good for you Kat - the energy will come back slowly. Just don't do too much too soon.

Is that a promise, WLD?**bg**

Thanks! To you, too, Jacqui. I did ten minutes on the treadmill tonight, with three half-minute stops. I use a pulse ox so I keep my O2 in range and all. It's exciting to be able to do it!

If I read what your doc said aright, you caught the cure! There is a lot of that about, S did it last year, not quite as bad as pneumonia, but fainting fits caused by a reaction to BP medication. The first time she did it was in the middle of the night in the bathroom, it nearly scared me to death I'll admit!
When he finally got it sorted out our doc said 'You should be alright now we've stopped trying to poison you!'
