It was full moon here tonight and strong high winds from the west

I know where you live, and will show up for a dose of my Gran's healing concoctions. These usually involve a number of arcane ingredients, mixed with liberal doses of John Jameson's Very Finest Irish Whiskey. I am not sure if it ever healed me, but I damn sure quit worrying about gettin' better.

Pneumonia is a bitch. Had for the first time myself last year. Seems to take forever to recover and meantime every cold or sniffle turns into Project Mercury. REST!!!! Eat properly and then rest some more.

I waited to post until there was an update to respond to. I'm glad they've been able to isolate the problem to just pneumonia. That's bad enough!

Hospitals are no place for sick people, so get home as soon as is reasonable. Have Rog roll out the barcalounger if you need to sleep propped up. Add your Mmario shawl and a printout of this thread to the chair and keep mending!

I wonder if any of the hot chili recipes we were discussing earlier this year would help? Does a good capsaicin singe help clear out those bad germs, d'you think? How about chocolate? Is there anything we can send that will help the healing process? The Giant Squid offered a hug, but maybe he and Wesley could work on providing some lime jello?

Oh, by the way, though his entry was deleted, I think in his own special way, Gargoyle was actually offering good wishes and hoping you'd get well. He just has such an odd turn of phrase at times that it all seems repugnant. I think he actually respects his old adversary. For what it's worth. :)

Just found out -- what a shock! But it looks like these positve thoughts and good wishes work retrospectively ... Oops, sorry -- I've gone into BS mode -- always do when I'm worried -- what I mean is it looks like you're on the mend even before my two-penn'orth of healing thoughts get their laces tied.
