I got an email yesterday from the auction site eBay, confirming (incorrectly) that I was the high bidder in an auction of 20 rolls of 120 Tri-X film. Whoever sent the message addressed me as --seed, a nickname I use nowhere else but on Mudcat. So 'fess up: who's the Mudcatter at eBay? --seed

eBay - that's the company which is in the news today - the 13 year old boy who's been bidding for all manner of stuff at their auctions, isn't it? The company have said his purchases aren't valid, because of his age. I wonder if there is any connection, BSeed? It's definitely not me - I'd never even heard of it until today - but it's a strange coincidence it's popped up twice.... Good luck with this anyway.

Well, --seed, none of us may work there, but many of us have posted our emails on threads here. And, as Max keeps telling us, LOTS of folks pass through here.
