To come upon Lake Wobegon.
Old town, I smell the coffee.

Could it have been forty years since then?

One more fall in Minneapolis
I'll walk around Calhoun with you,
The sailboats gone and the beach deserted,

Along Lake Street, a cafe we used to meet,
And we talked about the books that we would write someday.
I missed you, friend, so I came back again.
This is my home. There's nothing more to say.

To escape from swimming at the YMCA.

That's it, Kat. When I went to the website earlier today, 11/3 was the last show I could find.

It was really lovely and I want to learn it. (Although I will probably keep it under my hat.   The world may not be ready to hear a hillbilly accent with more than a little southern drawl sing a line about 'my northern soul':?)

Garrison Keller sang a song this week (11/10) about fall in Minnesota that I just loved. it was called something like "In the Late Fall" or "In the Late Autumn." I suppose I could wait until this week's show is archived to get the correct name and track down lyrics if they are on-line, but I liked it so well, I just can't wait.

Anybody hear it or know the song?
