Jim I have Shirley and Larry Peterson (Shetland father and daughter) singing it on a 45 but i cant find anyone to transfer it to a medium i can listen to at the moment.

I'd be interested in whether anyone knows for sure.... is it "Bairn" or "Ben"?
Both make perfect sense although I am leaning towards "Bairn" for a couple of reasons.
