Watt died a Long Time back - Sadly Missed ! I have his song Book 'What Words , What Music , Watt Nicholl' and still sing some of his songs !

Please look at these pages of Nigel Gatherer's web site:
1. A Watt Nicoll discography; and
2. A short Watt Nicoll biography.

I have these observations:
1. Unless all those album covers are wrong, the correct spelling is "Nicoll," not "Nicholl."
2. The web site speaks of him in the present tense, and says nothing about his being dead. (I suppose it's possible that the web site hasn't been updated in a long time, but….)
3. The web site does imply that he has given up performing music, and it states "More recently he has flourished in the world of motivational speaking…."
4. This article in a business magazine, about Watt Nicoll the motivational speaker, calls him, among other things, a "former folk musician" and says he "recorded 14 albums as a folk singer."

Therefore I conclude that theballadeer is correct: Watt Nicoll is alive and well, and that the folksinger and the motivational speaker are one and the same person.

But I suppose you're still entitled to say he's "sadly missed."

As one who has seen Watt perform many times, I can verify that the guy "at the helm"and Watt the folkie are one and the same.

Bit less hair...bit more snow on the bushy beard, but it's him alright.
He must be absolutely pissing himself at the gullibility of the business classes.
Wonder what happened to the stunning blond who used to travel round with him?
