Subject: Lyr Req: 'Old Featherbed Moss' From: sallonby Date: 26 Nov 07 - 04:56 AM I'm trying to trace the lyrics to a song titled 'Old featherbed Moss' (or possibly 'Shovel & Scrape') which appeared in a 1971 (or thereabouts) BBC 'Music Workshop Stage 2' schools booklet 'The Pennine Way', to accompany the radio broadcasts of the same name. The booklet also contained the songs 'We crouch on Pendle Hill' and 'John the shepherd' |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 'Old Featherbed Moss' From: Mick Pearce (MCP) Date: 26 Nov 07 - 10:39 AM The National Arts Education Archive seems to have a copy; see Music Workshop Stage 2 - The Pennine Way (Paul Mann West Riding Music Education Collection). There's an index number there and presumably you can get more information from them - there's an email and telephone number on the home-page link from the page I've directed you to Mick |
