this is just to say sorry to anyone who's seen my funwall recently.....

I've had a couple of posts from one of my friends which I'm not happy about....

I don't know how to take them off so if anyone could help I'd be really grateful...

It's an amusing bit of distraction that can be cobbled onto a Facebook account. I've been slowly learning to navigate the Facebook world. An amazing amount of unnecessary information comes through along with some interesting stuff. I haven't figured out how to filter the fripperies yet.

JeZeBeL: If you look to the top right of the postings on the Fun Wall, you should see a blue "X" which will delete that posting.
I am very sorry for making the assumption that you knew about these. It seems that people can put stuff on your Funwall, without your approval.
I will be taking "Funwall" off my page, for this reason.

E mailing them probably won't do much good, Jez. I doubt it was someone you know, probably just a bot thing. The e mail could do more harm than good, as now the bot has YOUR e mail, and most likely your entire address book.

Guest - I don't mind having silly things on my fun wall but I have to draw the line somewhere.....I use facebook at work and I don't think hard core porn will go down well with my employers!!!!

You have to pardon Shane (BDiBR), Jezebel. He had a deprived childhood. His ideas of "fun" tend to run along certain fairly narrow and predictable channels....most of which have to do with alcohol, fast food, and loose women...or hopefully all three of those at the same time.

He was arrested not too long ago for urinating on the back wall of a Tim Horton's Donut Shop in Blind River, Ontario. He may have thought of it as his Funwall, but the police did not see it that way. They charged him with indecent exposure. Shane objected strenuously to that, saying, "It was not in decent! It wasn't in at all! It was OUT OF MY PANTS at the time and I was flippin' ALONE!!!"

But he only thought he was alone. A couple of the girls who work there got incriminating photos with a cellphone camera. It just wasn't Shane's lucky day, eh?

I've gone in and tampered with the fun wall, deleting posts put there just to see what happens. Nothing, as far as I can tell. Does all of this keep loading over time or does it go away after a while?

And why, oh why, does this ridiculous program send me an email any time somebody says or posts something, or adds some new feature to their own account? I've tried resetting the toggles for notifications and such, but they keep coming. My idea of a good site to participate in is one that stays where it is, doesn't bleed into everything else. But the site appears to be set up like it is supposed to infiltrate everything.

I don't know how much longer I'll stay with it, or I may just ignore it (my 15-year-old son does that, apparently he joined through an offer at AIM - AOL Instant Messenger - and hasn't been back.)

Well there is a lot of repetitive stuff on those walls - Mortimer the Travelling Bear and the angels and snowballs get a little tedious after a while, but it doesn't bother me too much.

I'm just thinking I need to edit out a few apps because my profile page is taking longer and longer to load.

Mainly though, I still love it - particularly some aspects of it that have turned out BETTER than I was expecting - and there is certainly enough there that I enjoy to keep me playing on it.
