I have an old arch top guitar with the name Carl Fischer stamped on peghead. It is also stamped Monarch on peg head in gold. I am trying to find out who Carl Fischer was and any history of guitar company. thanks.

carl fischer is a sheet music company. from what i have been told they had the guitars made ny another company possibly martin or someone like that. i have one as well. it is about 1932ish and its worth about 500 bucks in good condition

I have a very old accoustic guitar with the name monarch stamped in gold I have no idea where or when this guitar was made so let me know if anyone finds out.
