I've just been talking to Col's mum and she seems to be doing well. She told me the total the undertakers sent to Whitby lifeboat in memory of Col was £566. She also knows that some people chose to send their money separately.

A great total for which she has recieved a lovely letter from the treasurer of the Whitby boat. Col would be proud to have provided that much for them.

Whitby will get a new Shannon class lifeboat and Colin's name (with many others) will be on her.
