All you knowledgeable Mudcatters: I'm after the music for the Canadian Metis tune, "Red River Jig". I've heard a couple of recordings of this but never seen it in print.

Murray, I haven't got the music for you, but perhaps you can explain what the Metis have got to do with Red River. (Or maybe I should get a history of Canada?) James Keelaghan has a song 'Red River Rising' which refers to the connection as well. - Susanne
