Does anyone know whether the "Oak Leaf" label is still in business or whether anyone else has picked up the Oak Leaf list? I have a CD called "The Dark Island" with Linn Barnes and Allison Hampton, which was one of my favorites until it stopped playing. Alternatively, does anyone know whether Barnes and Hampton are still active?

Don't know at present. Linn is the husband and Allison the wife of this long lived lute duo. Tonight I'll have access to a Washington D.C. phone book, and will try to look them up.

They're performing at the Washington Folk Festival, Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo Maryland, Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Adventure Theatre.
It's a wonderful festival, and FREE. I'm not entirely disinterested about publicizing this event--I'm on the programming committee and hosting/performing in a workshop on vocal styles. Bill D and Ferrara are involved with crafts, and Ferrara will be singing. SongBob also performs as part of Sidekicks (with LaMarca's husband). I'm probably missing other performing Mudcatters. All the performers are from the greater DC area.
