I'll be doing shows at the junior college.....senior citizens homes from Monday thru Thursday,Feb 25th thru the 28th, and on Friday, Feb 29th 6 shows at the Caney Valley High School 20 miles west of Coffeyville....Would like to meet some mudcatters in the area, if there are some. The shows will be 45 minutes long; Woody Guthrie's life in story & song.....I'm quite excited about this gig and a bit anxious......Frank of Toledo. The age groups go from 15 years of age to the 90's............

Wow! I did that gig a couple of times but during the summer months. Say "Hi" to Selda Grauerholz if you see her.

February isn't the best time for that part of the country. I hear she's retired. I hope she's still there......Is there any transportation available, other than rent a car? How long ago do you do it.....Frank of Toledo.......

Probably just Rent a Car, Frank. And if I remember Coffeyville, there may not even be one of those. Perhaps you can rent one at a local dealership.

Coffeyville was also hard hit by the floods last summer. I'm not sure what has been rebuilt, reopened, etc. Wichita, Tulsa, or OKC are probably your closest major terminals.

Thanks Sorcha...I'm trying to find out if there was any mudcatters in Coffeyville so I could possibly set up some rides.....Most of the shows are within walking distance of the motel.....I don't drive anymore and will go from Portland, Oregon to Coffeyville by Greyhound (my favorite way to travel....great people)...I hope this works out for me.....I'm really looking forward to doing these shows.....Frank of Toledo
