Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Rabbit Hills (Michael Chapman) From: GUEST,Martin Date: 16 Mar 12 - 07:05 AM I use open D tuning (DADF#AD) and move down the fretboard from the fifth fret: 550500, 440300, 220100, 00000. I use these two chords for the bridge: 330300, 220200. Michael Chapman's own site says he used DADGAD, but it is easier to play in open D. |

Subject: Lyr Add: RABBIT HILLS (Mike Chapman) From: John Wood Date: 07 May 99 - 08:03 PM Hi you're in luck! I've got them. Just got to dig them out from an old hand written book. RABBIT HILLS by Mike Chapman. 1. It's a long, long road from here down to the sea The only thing that keeps your love with me Where the water meets the trees and the long grass turns to sand Bluebirds skip the wavestones(?) like jewels in your hand Or is it my imagination again? 2. At the end of the road there's a clearing in the shade And it's there many times that my love and I have laid The path disappears and the garden's overgrown, But at least it was somewhere for us to call our own Or was it my imagination again? BRIDGE: The water is so cold today, I sit behind the hill Conjure up my memories like motion-picture stills Waiting for the tide to rise and wash away all trace Of my footsteps on the beach, and etch away your face. 3.Repeat verse 1. This is a really great song! Do you need the chords? Greetings John. |
