I've heard Nathan sing and spent some time with him a few years ago. He has The Voice, writes some good songs and he's a nice guy, too. Wish he'd find the southern route down here again!

Nathan's guitar is so raw & powreful, backed by the precise fiddle & the voices "that really mean it" wish I was there that day.

I was fortunate to host a showcase room at the West Coast Folk Alliance Conference where Nathan was one of the performers. Everyone really sat up and took notice. I saw some festival organizers listening very carefully and won't be surprised to hear him on their stages soon.

It hasn't hurt him any to have Uncle Garnet as an inspiration, either@!

Yep, he's a great singer/performer and a superb writer - try 'Mary's Child', 'Hold The Line' and 'Hibbing' from his album 'True Stories'. A great version of 'Duncan & Brady' on there too. He's Stan and some, kinda the same but DIFFERENT! Woo-hoo!
