Subject: RE: Chord Req: Talking Football Pool From: Snuffy Date: 22 Jan 08 - 07:17 PM I don't have that track, but apparently "Bosworth" was the name the Spinners used for songs they'd written themselves. Hughie's The Ellen Vannin Tragedy is credited to Bosworth on a compilation LP I have of tracks published between 1963 and 1969, and there are a few "Trad, arr. Bosworth" tracks on there too. |
Subject: Chord Req: Talking Football Pool From: GUEST,Chris Thurland Date: 21 Jan 08 - 08:59 AM Can anyone offer the guitar chord sequence and maybe the lyrics for this song. It was recorded by The Spinners on their "Not Quite Folk LP" on the Fontana label in 1969. Hughie Jones sang/talked the lead vocal. The sleeve notes only state it was written by someone called "Bosworth". I've had no luck so far tracking it down on the internet Thanks, Chris |
