Miskin at Easter

There will be some singing and playing at the Snare and Gin Trap, Bishop's Nympton, over Easter - singarounds hosted by Admiral and Mrs Admiral, and a concert on the Saturday evening featuring Bill McKinnon supported by Les Sullivan.

But it's not a song and ale nor a full-blown festival, and if anyone is thinking of coming to fill the gap left by the lack of a Miskin festival, can you please bear in mind that:-
a) camping must be pre-booked as there aren't any public
spaces in the village. The pub number is 01769 550283.
b) There is a field 6 miles away where people can camp (a pleasant drive through country lanes, if you don't mind driving.)
c) There are some camp sites in the nearby towns (eg South
Molton which is about 3 miles away).

Andy good Luck to all "Miny Miskins" Your one carries on in spirit for another year then. At home a glass will be raised for you on the Sunday at 9 30 PM .I am shure others will be doing the same! :>}

Hi everybody,
as Lynne rightly points out the Mill has been booked, by Scouts, for 2008. This has always been my fear if we let it go for a year. The Miskin spirit lives on though, as several regulars are organising "Mini Miskins" all over the place. It is too soon yet to know what the future holds for the Mill site, but it is irreplaceable.

I will be posting details soon of the commemorative film shot during Miskin 2006.

There has been a thread on it, Shuffer but as I understand it, there will be no Miskin this year ( 08) but fingers crossed for 09, eh?

I know that Miskin 2007 was cancelled at the last minute but does anybody know wether 2008 is happening or is the whole thing now defunct?
