Many thanks to all the kind and generous folk at Cottingham live last night.
We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a packed evening of music of all kinds.
Harp,Violin,mandolin,piano all played wonderfully well.
So many beautiful new songs and brilliant versions of the more traditional as well.
Harmonies from the audience to die for.
If you are in the area go have a listen you wont regret it.

Thank YOU Tim, your songs were wonderful and I mean that very sincerley. you would be most welcome to come again Last night we had an audience of about 60 and 21 acts got on. I told them to pipe down and get on with it-to a man and woman they were all great performances. We are so lucky with the talent in our club and when we have fantastic people travelling from as far afield as Grimsby and Newcastle, then its the best way n the world to spend an evening!!

Well you were all brilliant audience and performers alike.
Realised after I pressed the submit button(steady boy!)
I ddint mention recorders and unacompanied singers but then you dont sing unacompanied with that audience do you ?
It is really brilliant and definatly a place for us to come and be filled with good cheer.

Staithes music event
I just thought some of the performers and audience might enjoy this event.
Its a great gathering of like minded music lovers.
There are no stars and no special treatment for the famous
Just lots of us enjoying playing and listening to others from breakfast into the early hours.(not compulsery but Bloody good fun)
Those that stay over and camp enjoy a rare chance to mingle and learn and enjoy the music of others.
Those that call for the day are very welcome and just as encouraged to join in.
Its music in the pub.

Wow, I'm still buzzing after this evenings fantastic Club Night. We had visitors from Hook and London - Cobble, Mrs Cobble and Micca, and others. Christian who's 13 is an amazing local guitarist . There are too many names to try and mention, but there's not many spaces where you can hear such an array of talent for a couple of pounds.
The penultimate song was Amazing Grace - and with a room full of singers you can only imagine the amazing sound.

It's a superb space - come and see for yourself - soon!
