Hi

Sorry - just a quick heads-up re tomorrow night's show in Leeds, just in case you're planning to come.

Normally I shake off viruses quickly, and I thought I'd beat this one as usual, but it seems to have got under the wire. I'm using all my secret remedies of course, but I honestly don't know this morning (Sat) how much of the show I'll be able to manage tomorrow evening.

I could just cancel, but first of all I can't reach everyone who's planning to come at this late stage, plus we do need to do the technical rig and photography anyway.

If I can manage to tell at least some of the stories with pictures, and even sing a few songs, that would be enough for the promotional DVD too. But it's not fair to expect you good people to turn up for what could be a rather short show (though of course I may be fine by tomorrow night - there's just no way of knowing)!

So I've invited my good friends Duncan McFarlane and Ramon De Juan (who were both coming anyway) to stand by in case. They are both wonderful musicians and performers and well worth a visit to Leeds in any event. We might even persuade Matt Nelson (who's in the sound crew) to do a spot.

So a good night is guaranteed one way or another, but i thought I'd better warn you that it's unlikely to be exactly what we said on the tin!

Sorry about that

Tom

PLEASE TELL ANYONE YOU THINK MAY NEED TO KNOW - Thanks

Sorry to hear about the cold..hope all goes well. I was hoping you were about to announce a postponement so I could come. Sounds like a great night all round. Tomorrow is the first night of a new monthly singers and musicians night at the Talbot and Swan in Wetherby being organised by Peter..which is where we'll be.

Thanks all. Feeling much better this morning - but i think we'll make Dunc and Ramon do some anyway (doubt my voice will last ALL night)!

Yes bad planning on my part re the Talbot. Best of luck with that.

Tom
