The wonderful wall of sound that is Isambarde are coming to The Woodlark Folk Club in Lambley near Nottingham on Monday 4th February, not to be missed, if you haven't seen them before, come along and see one of the best bands in the Midlands containing three people who's obvious enjoyment of their performance ensures any audience will be infected with an eqivalent enjoyment!! Or if you like you can heckle, they can cope with that too! Boundless energy and excellent musicianship are the buzz words for the night!
You can also see fantastic local talent in the shape of four piece band Acushla (How we're going to fit them all in is beyond me!!) and soloist Mark Atherton.

I went, and Isambarde were just great. They had to be, they were following a terrific band called Acushla, who played a really good set of tunes and songs. Isambarde are a band that are really going places; three strong voices, three really good instrumentalists, and some tight and inventive arrangements. Great atmosphere, packed club, good beer as well. Next guests include Gren Bartley and Tom Kitching, and the inimitable Jez Lowe. Be there or....not!

Have to agree with Mandotim. It was a cracking night, one of the best we have had. Thanks to everyone for coming
Next singers night is two weeks time, be nice to see some faces there, and tickets foe Jez Lowe are going fast.
