Subject: RE: Real Man's music-Part1 From: Paco Rabanne Date: 28 Jan 08 - 08:06 AM A good point Raymond, we wondered if anyone would notice! we are sight reading the sheet music which is laid out on the floor in floor of us. Each part is six pages long, which is a bit of a bugger to fit on a normal music stand. |

Subject: RE: Real Man's music-Part1 From: GUEST,leeneia Date: 28 Jan 08 - 05:26 PM Very fine! I enjoyed it. How I wish I could play like that. Did you compose that piece? |
Subject: RE: Real Man's music-Part1 From: Paco Rabanne Date: 29 Jan 08 - 03:19 AM Thanks ladies! In answer to leeneia's question - The sevillanas is a strict dance form that changes key three times, so they tend to follow their nose, but the interconnecting melodies (or falsetas in flamenco) were written by the late great Robin Kaye. flamenco, the true path! Except wednesday when I play Northumbrian tunes with a few old blokes.... |
