Guest Georgina... Do you have the date for the June Gig please ? I've googled and searched for Lovely Coope Boyes and Simpson and can't find the date or mention of the concert anywhere.

Thanks

Chris

Lovely, thats my birthday 21st June. So I shall be in Bungay to celebrate. It is a super little theatre and the restaurant is good so you can have supper before the concert.
Vin Garbutt is there tomorrow Febuary 1st.

....and in more traditional vein:

The Bumpsted Boys - Ruby and her Horses
Saturday 22 March 2008
Start: 19:30pm
This is a true-life narrative about Ruby's love of horses set against the hardships of the agricultural depression of the 1920s and 30s. The Bumpstead boys are said to have 'mined the vein of Suffolk nostalgia' The performance comprises some button accordion music while there is a show of photographs mostly taken by Ruby at the time on her box brownie, Then stories each followed by an unaccompanied song from Andrew in his nutbrown East Suffolk voice.

I guess that would be Andrew Stannard - see Helions Bumpstead Gramophone Co. main page for the rest of it.
