Today is the birthday of our beloved poet and silly man, Les Barker.

Hope you're having a good day - after the last few weeks, you could probably do with a few smiles. To do this, we could all write to the BBC and ask them to play something from any of the 'Guide Cats for the Blind' series... just for fun!

Sarah Kennedy and a lot of others on Radio 2 are good for a try... they've played his stuff before, and many have recorded for him.
