Art tells us (in the "Phenomenon" thread) that his guitar has "This machine kills time" on it. I know Woody had "This machine kills fascists" and Dylan "This machine kills". [I expect Tiny Tim had "This machine kills music"]. However, one that has niggled me for years may be solved by the collective omniscience of the Mudcat: the Liverpool Spinners had some initials on their guitars that I could never make out on LP sleeves or from my spot in the cheap seats at their concerts. They were something like RMFTT. What did they stand for? Perhaps nothing, just to annoy nosy ******s like me?
