He was so amazing. I'd never heard him speak in a straight voice, but there's an old clip of him talking with Steve Martin and he sounds *gasp* normal! click here.

Here is Andy Kaufmann on the Johnny Cash Show in '79, and he does the most superb imitation of Elvis Presley that one could possibly imagine. Just stunning. For those who haven't seen it in awhile (or at all)...here it is:
