Hi Folks

I've agreed with Jenny, the landlady at the Boat Inn, to run a monthly singers session. General consensus is that the 3rd Tuesday of the month would be best.

SO we will be beginning on Tuesday 18th March at 8pm.

Bring your voices, instruments and folk songs.... old or new to The Boat Inn, Jackfield. Shropshire ...   floods permitting!

Couldnt start tomorrow (19th Feb)as Boat Inn booked for a slide show on Jackfield history. May go as interested in local history.

This Thurs is St Pats night at the Boat session. Then we are having another St Pats night on Monday.

Then Tues is the 1st of the new Singing sessions at the Boat... 'Fliss n Chips'.. Im Fliss and hopefully the landlady is supplying the chips!!

What a fab night it was,plenty of songs a few tunes a great atmosphere and chips!!! definately a valuable addition to the Shropshire folk scene. Looking forward to next month already

Singers evening starts again Tomorrow night... Tues 16th Sept. Nice crowd of people. Lots of different styles, flolk, blues, harmony.
