Subject: Murder Ballad thesis is ON! From: Kim C Date: 04 Feb 08 - 11:34 AM Several months ago I posted that I'd be writing a thesis on murder ballads, and several of you responded that you'd be willing to answer a few questions for me. I'm sorry it's taken longer than I thought - all research involving "human subjects" has to be cleared with the school's Institutional Review Board first - but my survey has been approved and I'm ready to start sending it out. I still have e-mail addresses for those of you who responded before, but if anyone else is interested, please send me a PM with an e-mail address where you can receive an attachment. There are six questions on the survey and they have to do with why murder ballads continue to appeal to modern audiences. Thanks!!!!!! :-) |

From: Surreysinger Date: 04 Feb 08 - 01:02 PM Research involving "human" subjects - I'm intrigued... what other sort could you have for surveys on murder ballads (dead victims, perhaps....???) I look forward to receiving the survey in due course (grins), since I seem to recall signing up for it... |
