I've just heard one of my heroes Lonnie Donegan singing Rock Island Line on Desmond Carrington's Radio 2 show.It was taken from Lonnie's 25th. anniversary concert. I was lucky enough to support in when he played at Wavendon in the nineties: fantastic!!

Glad to hear the old maestro is still being heard over the airwaves.

In 1954 he said:

"I may be right, I may be wrong
But you know your gonna miss me when I'm gone"

Still true in 2008.
