What a shock, I can't believe that John Wright has gone. He'll be missed by a lot of people.

Not my taste for a full set, but the odd part set I caught I enjoyed. He will obviously be missed by many.

Yes it is. I saw him along with Benji Kirkpatrick and Seth Lakeman in Leeds a few years ago. Great show.

He will be missed.

just heard the very sad news ,cant get my head round it .john s been a great friend even though we did nt see each other often ,   our thoughts are with barbara and johns family .

I've never gone out of my way to rush to a John Wright Band gig, but I always quite enjoyed the occasional sets I caught at festivals.

Very sad news.

Just passing on the devestating news that John Wright, who for the past decade or more has lead many incarnations of the John Wright Band, has passed away. I afraid I have no details though.
John has been a friend of mine through virtually all of that decade and I am struggling to believe the news. A great singer has been taken before he should have been in my opinion.
My most heartfelt condolances go to Barbara and John's family.
