Well, now I know what Irish country music sounds like. Not that different from American country music, it turns out.

This song was written by a Mayo man called Michael Commins. He also has several other songs recorded by well known Irish singers. Leona Williams, and ex wife of Merle Haggard, has just recorded one of his songs in Nashville which will be released sometime in 2012!
