Subject: HARPGIRL! I need you. From: Rick Fielding Date: 11 May 99 - 11:10 AM Hi there. Figured this was the only way I could be sure of getting your attention. If you have a significant other who's now loading up his shotgun, and looking for his rival, tell him to put it away. All I wanted to know was did you hear any other stories about Woody's time in Florida. That's a period in his life that biographers paint in pretty dark tones. I'm fascinated buy the impressions people had of him. Any extra info would be greatly appreciated. I first posted this in the autoharp thread, and figured you hadn't been back there. I promise never to scare you again! Rick |

Subject: RE: HARPGIRL! I need you. From: harpgirl Date: 11 May 99 - 12:38 PM Rick, I don't think I can shed any light on the mystery of Woody's life during that time. Marty only told me he had heard him play and that he was very inspired. I'll ask his daughter, who just had her first baby, LeeAnne, what she remembers he said about Woody and pass it on to you but Lorrie might need a day or two to focus on something else besides childbirth though! Hope to hear your show next week. I had a show years ago on KUAF 89 FM in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I love doing radio and my secret wish is to own a station some day! harp |
