sorry Sean.. I was off surfing the 'cat while you were talking to me... the old room gave a door noise to let you know someone had come in... I didn't hear any noise...

I suggest we all start trying to go in on the hour again... I haven't seen anyone in there for ages....

I was there last night about 10pm pacific time. I called out but only heard my own cyber echo. I was very glad to have made it there, as previously something was preventing me from getting there. I not so good at fixing these sort of problems. The cyber gremlins or elves or one of them breeds of creatures that live there in cyber space must have heard my plea and had mercy on me, happy happy joy joy. Perhaps we'll chat with yall there later.

For the first time ever, when I click on enter nothing happens. Could it be full? Are there six of you in there?

Also, Max, how come if I want to go out and browse the threads until someone comes into chat, I lose the connection and there is no knock on the doors sound effects anymore, or doorbell? This has only been since you made some changes.

I've really had a lot of fun in there. Hoep we can keep it up.

I tried a few times to go, but nothing happens when I click on Enter. I'm not sure I'm much of a "live" conversationalist - I've NEVER been in a chat room - but I tohught this one would be the one to try.

Yep, it doesn't seem to be working today, nothing happens when you click on enter.

and that's what happened to me yesterday Kat, missed talking to someone because the door knock noise had gone, I didn't lose the connection though.. but I have found that if you choose "float" and press "enter'.. then go surfing, it loses the connection,... so I have had to select 'float' go back to wherever I want to look... then choose "enter" again.

Maybe Max is fixing it......

I noticed the same thing when I typed enter nothing happened last night or today. so it is not only in the U.S. Cheers Bill

That's exactly the same experience I had last night. No response from hitting enter in the java client and a connection refused error from the mIRC client.

I'll try again in about an hour and a half. (Can't connect to chat from work)

I've been trying to access from home via mIRC and just get a connection refused message. My guess is that there is a configuration problem at the server.

Just tried to enter chatroom at quarter to six PDT. Nada! Same as last night. Maybe we've been blackballed.
